New Moon in Scorpio: Transforming What Has Been Hidden

I needed to write this missive today. It is so important to me! I have had such insomnia since the Eclipses that I have not been able to function in my normal patterns. I have done less videos and far less writing because I have had to take care of my mental health. I am sure that many of you can relate to that in the times in which we live.
Tomorrow would have been my father’s 100th birthday. It will be also my boyfriend’s 3 year Sober anniversary, which is incredible. My father got sober during Saturn in Pisces in 1966. Before that, he lost his family, his career, and most of his friendships. He became homeless for a while and lived under a bridge. He taught English at a maximum security prison, and he really hit rock bottom before he got his life together and married my mother, who was part of his Sober journey.
AA was founded when Saturn was in Pisces in 1935. Think of the tenets of AA. There are 12 steps, and Pisces is the 12th sign. One of the key concepts of both Pisces and AA is to surrender. Having a spiritual awakening is also connected with AA and with the higher vibration of Neptune, which is the planet that rules the sign of Pisces in Modern Astrology.
Helping someone worse off than yourself is the most lovely expression of Neptune; as well as a necessity in AA to maintain one’s sobriety and to rehabilitate one’s character. Saturn and Neptune are currently transiting at the final degrees of Pisces. Neptune does not leave the final degree of the Zodiac until it leaves the sign of Pisces altogether on 1/26/25. Neptune is hovering over the world point, which is at 0 degrees of the sign of Aries, and this makes its transit SO impactful. Feeling lost, unclear, uncertain, and rudderless.
Neptune first transited at the final degree of Pisces from 5/4/24 -- 9/4/24. At that time, I heard of three suicides within a month of Neptune at the final degree. The last degree of the Zodiac is a Fixed Star known as Scheat. Look it up because it impacts all of us right now.
Scheat is associated with the chart of the Titanic. It is connected with misfortune, suicide, self-undoing, addiction, misery, and accidents. With Neptune at the final degree of the Zodiac, we are experiencing a lot of flooding and natural disasters regarding water.
It is also centered on victims. It is interesting that Ron Goldman’s father was finally awarded $58 million dollars from O.J. Simpson’s estate. He was killed when Saturn was last in Pisces. To me, Saturn and Neptune at the final degrees of the entire Zodiac represent those who have been silenced and do not have a voice. Saturn represents Karma.
I remember when O.J. died, and his lawyer Malcolm LaVergne stated so coldly that he hoped the Goldmans received nothing. I remember thinking he must have sold his soul to the devil to make such a comment about a family that had lost their son so savagely.
Today, Epstein’s victims speak up, as they have been silenced for many years. This is a time to focus on the victims and on those that have no voice; those that have been silenced or erased. This is a time to practice empathy in a world, which is slowly losing the concept.
It’s Scorpio season, baby, and it’s time to get to the brutal truth! There are currently five points retrograde, which is also a time to get to the bottom of things. It is a time of reflection. With Saturn and Neptune at the final degrees fo the Zodiac, many things are ending and dissolving.
Mercury is retrograde, and it returns to the brooding Fixed water sign of Scorpio on 11/18/25 at 10:20 pm EST, where it is inherently intuitive and observant. Mercury stations direct on 11/29/25 at 20 degrees and 42 minutes of Scorpio. It leaves the sign of Scorpio on 12/11/25.
Mercury in Scorpio sees right through you, so do not even try to hide! This is a time for psychoanalysis and for deep truths to be revealed! It is a time to search within yourself of what is really working, and what is not.

Mercury proceeds to trine Neptune in Pisces on 11/19/25 at 7:21 am EST. As so much sad and heavy emotions pervade the world, there is a lot of creative and manifesting possibility, if you can focus. Saturn restricts, and Neptune dissolves.
With five planets currently retrograde and so many points in water, it can be hard to find your footing and to focus. Use your imagination to steer you and protect you. Try to find your faith and higher power -- whatever that means to you. It certainly does not have to be religious in any form, but it does require compassion.
We are building up to a VERY powerful and informative New Moon in Scorpio. The New Moon in Scorpio occurs on 11/20/25 at 1:47 am EST at 28 degrees and 11 minutes of Scorpio. The New Moon is always a cosmic reset, and it is a time to initate new things and plant new seeds. This New Moon opposes Uranus, the Great awakener, and there many twists and turns.

In the New Moon chart, there are 9 points in water. Jupiter, the Grand Benefic, transits in the Cardinal water sign of Cancer, where it increases the emotional energy a few octaves. There are five points in the fixed water sign ofScorpio: Venus, the planet of love and money; Black Moon Lilith, which represents the shadow side and authenticity; The Sun, which represents ego and identity; The Moon, which represents security and family; Mercury; which represents knowledge and information.
There are three points transiting in the Mutable water sign of Pisces: The North Node of Destiny, which is where you are meant go towards; Saturn, which represents limits, boundaries, and karmic lessons; Neptune which represents dreams, fantasy, compassion, spirituality, delusion, disillusionment, and deception.

This Grand Trine involves Jupiter, the planet of good fortune and expansion, which is currently in its exaltation in Cancer, where it loves to be and expands through nurturing yourself and those you love, as well trusting your emotions. Black Moon Lillith in Scorpio, which represents rejection and feeling misunderstood; The New Moon, which is a new beginning; Mercury, the planet of perspective and learning; Saturn, which represents structure; Neptune, which represents magic.
This particular Grand trine has magnetizing energy, in which luck flows to you and through you. Tap into your imagination, intuition, and trusting your instincts. Hear yourself.
A Kite occurs in Astrology when there is a Grand Trine, in which one point opposes a fourth point. In this case, the New Moon forms an opposition to Uranus, the maverick planet that never plays by the rules. Mercury retrograde in Scorpio is still opposite Uranus and ready to spell the tea. That is the last time I will ever say that expression. Mercury is opposing Uranus, so there you have it! Think on your feet and kick it up a bit!
This is helpful because a Grand Trine can have you just sitting back sipping chamomile tea and watching a good series on Netflix. It feels comfortable and relaxing, but it does not change your life.
Why not capitalize on good luck and act? Why not be creative? Uranus will motivate you through unexpected events, insights, flashes of genius, and excitement. If you have been in a creative rut like your writer, it could be amazing to actually feel inspired again! Ahh, yes, and focused. How hard is it it to focus with all of this water? Saturn wants hard work. Neptune wants to sleep and rest.
Saturn and Jupiter both form a lucky trine at the exact same degree. It is not exact to the minute; but, it helps to expand the dream you are trying to anchor with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. They will meet up next February at the very first degree of Aries; but, at present, they are shedding layers.
Saturn and Jupiter paired up in December of 2020 to structure a new vision; now, it is time to manifest with your imagination and hope in desperate times. That vision of magic, community, love, and infinite possibility is possible.
We have choices. Next year the magic triangle begins; but, right now, many things are leaving us. I knew this fall would be hard; but, I had no idea how hard I would fall with it.
I write about the Astrology as an Astrologer. I write my articles as a writer and try to humanize the concepts with the examples I can provide. I can tell you that when my father finally reached his sobriety after many years and visits to hospitals like Bellevue in the 60s (no Cliffside Malibu for the poor), he finally was able to reinvent his entire life. He helped a lot of people with their sobriety. He also got a lot of people jobs when he went back to his company. He had purpose. He had a mission.
My purpose is to shine a light on mental health in the time of Scheat. I had a driver that we were trying to help, who became homeless in March of this year. He had mental illness, and he was challenging to deal with; but, he was also kind and helped us in his way as much as we had helped him. He died by the Total Lunar Eclipse and was becoming unhinged and was suicidal. I do not know what ultimately happened to him; but, he was in so much pain.
This New Moon is for Bob, the driver. It is for you and me. It is definitely for Epstein’s victims, and for all that suffer abuse, depression, mental illness, injustice, and addiction.
This particular New Moon is excellent to journal and write down intentions. It is also good to write down a list of those you forgive, those you have wronged, and what you want to release. It blocks your growth.
The New Moon is an excellent time to do the Law of Abundance. Take a blank check and date it for 11/20/25. Where it says, “Pay to the order of,” write your full name. Where you print the dollar amount, print, “Paid in Full.” Sign your name at the bottom of the check.
I wish you all much luck and healing in these uncertain times. It is best to know that as much gets revealed in these ensuing weeks, we still navigate in murky waters until Saturn and Neptune both exit the sign of Pisces. Neptune leaves the sign of Pisces on 1/26/26, and Saturn leaves on 2/13/26. Take good care!
